And speaking of smiles. If you're not up to one, this smile-on-a-stick can do it for you.
For more than fifty years DOODLET'S, has been creating magic for anyone who steps through their door. Opened in 1955 by the legendary Theo Raven, the store changed hands this past summer, purchased by Lisa Young who remembers her first visit to Doodlet's when she was only ten years old. "I fell in love with Doodlet's. It was a magical place filled with fun, whimsy and the unexpected. It's such an honor to carry on its tradition as the heart of Santa Fe."
And Doodlet's has books, wonderful children's books, gift books and books with rich story lines and lush illustrations like: Esterhazy - The Rabbit Prince by Irene Dische and Hans Magnus Enzensberger, illus. by Michael Sowa. The story is simple and charming - it concerns a royal dynasty of very small rabbits (they grew small because they ate chocolate rather than veggies), and it spins a tale of love amid the fall of the Berlin Wall. It's a keeper.
The book will launch Doodlet's first adult
