TRUE WEST GALLERY =- A VISUAL ROMP

A peek through the window of this vibrant gallery on Lincoln Avenue -  around the corner from Santa Fe's Historic Plaza - just isn't enough. You have to step through the door and take it all in. And, that's
what I did on Saturday.

This beautiful store opened 4-years ago and is owned  by Lisa Sheridan and Craig Allen, former managers of the legendary PACKARDS Store that graced the Santa Fe Plaza from 1944 until it closed in 2014. True West is now representing many of  Packards' artists and carrying on that rich legacy of service, integrity and knowledge.  "We represent over 130  artists," explains Lisa, "and the  majority are local and Native. We know each artist personally, so it feels like family."

There is so much to see when you wander about - sculpture, paintings, pottery, textiles and jewelry...lots and lots of jewelry. But nothing seems crowded or overwhelming, instead you are gently pulled along by the stunning collection that is presented invitingly throughout the store.

Thank you Nancy, Lisa and Donna for the tour!
