I stopped by for lunch twice...First time I ordered  Earl Grey Tea - my benchmark for tea-taste and how well a tea is brewed.  It was lovely on both counts; arriving in a French Press having been properly
 steeped before serving.

The grilled cheese -  Austrian Gruyère, Fontal and Reggiano -with Caramelized  Onions, Mustard and Fig Jam on lightly
toasted Whole Grain Bread was delicious.

On the second visit, we ordered the special - THE CUBAN SANDWICH - and it was a taste stunner. Layers of succulent, pulled pork, tangy mustard, pickle, and Gruyère cheese on a perfect roll. I DO hope they put it on their permanent menu!

It came with a ramekin of black beans and a side of roasted sweet potatoes. I ordered a cup of tomato soup and toast with rounds of compound avocado butter. Pure Yum!

The menu also touts pastries, salads, Japanese & polenta bowls and a variety of breakfast toasts topped with delightful taste combinations like cinnamon/cardamom/ blue cheese/ whipped ricotta, mixed mushrooms, roasted garlic, avocado.

                    DEBRA BAXTER'S charming bronze renderings...

JAYDAN MOORE  is a marvel.
He finds embossed silver-plated platters; painstakingly cuts
out the designs and re-works them into lace-like sculpture.
