The Friday evening opening party of the 10th annual International Folk Art Market was glorious.  I'm always in awe of how so many artists and all their wares wend their way to Santa Fe and appear on Museum Hill each year like a vibrant mirage. The Market is beautifully organized and has had a profound impact on participating artist's and their communities. Over the past  nine years, 16 million dollars has been generated from artists' sales and 90-percent of that has gone home with the artists and their organizations.

And then there are the artists. So talented, colorful and gracious...

Of course, everyone dresses for the market party...

And, smiles all around...
