I nipped through the wonderful garden/patio behind Selby Fleetwood Gallery and found myself at The Medicine Man Gallery. A deep portal filled with hanging ristras beckoned and when I stepped inside, among the gorgeous Native American pottery, pawn jewelry, sculpture, and paintings by early Santa Fe and Taos artists, was a trunk show of equally gorgeous contemporary jewelry by Denver artist, Dana Busch. I asked if I could take a few photographs and here they are...

Dana is a master of detail. She hand-picks each stone and painstakingly crafts every step of the design. She uses sterling silver, 24kt gold Vermeil and a candy box of luscious stones - fresh water pearls, peridot, turquoise, coral, emeralds, garnets, quartz, diamonds, tourmaline...only making one to five of each piece.
