SANTA FE HOME - JUST OPENED!

After 38 years of plying their trade in New Hampshire, Mary and Scott Patten moved to Santa Fe and in December opened their striking interiors store in the Railyard.  The 4,300 sq. foot space, formerly an antiques warehouse, has been transformed into an open, light-filled showroom offering vibrant furnishings and design services. Take a look...

Each vignette of furnishings and accessories  has been  artfully staged, creating an inviting tableau of color, texture and design.

                            Such wonderful pillows everywhere!

THE ART OF EASTER

I was invited to a wonderful Easter Party. It was in a gorgeous house filled with laughing children and easter egg hunts, five dogs, lots of friends and family, and beautiful food. I brought my camera just to record a few moments, but everything - the interiors, the guests, the artwork, the kids, the food made so carefully and deliciously - called out to be photographed. So I did.

My friend Lydia Hesse (rt) invited me to the family Easter celebration at the home of her daughter Misha  (lft) and husband Struan and their son Bodhi (below with pet tiger). Both Lydia and Misha are artists.

Misha creates exquisite pastries for her soon-to-open
MA CHERIE DESSERTS AND CAFE -  with partner Chaine Pena.

And Lydia paints magical portraits (yes that's her grandson Bohdi's portrait above the fireplace).

Take a peek at the house, the food and the guests.

WHAT A WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL EASTER...
Thank you Lydia, Misha, Struan, and Bodhi!
