I met the extraordinarily talented PATRICIA MICHAELS of the Taos Pueblo two years ago at Indian Market where she staged an enchanting fashion parade showcasing her latest contemporary clothing collection.

Then Patricia was invited to show her work at  New York Fashion Week - the first Native American to get that prestigious fashion nod.  And now she will debut on PROJECT RUNWAY SEASON II. And last evening, Legends Santa Fe held a reception, celebration and preview of her collection. The gallery was packed with collectors and well-wishers and I

got to snap away.

Feathers  are a dominant design motif, and gorgeous lyrical fabrics 

and details. The clothes seem to dance on the body, hemlines ripple and the detailing is gorgeous.
