I went on a photographic shopping spree at one of my all-time favorite stores - Double Take at the Ranch. It's chock-a-block full of cowboy boots, cowboy duds, amazing pawn jewelry, concho belts, paintings, furniture, folk art, saddles, vintage kitchen kitsch, and crazy-cool second-hand adult/baby/kids clothing. And don't miss the second floor - it's amazing!
This handsome fellow sits outside Double Take's front door. I know he's not real, and I've seen him a hundred times...but I still do - you guessed it - a double take every time I see him.
OK, OK. I'm going back tomorrow to buy one of these gems. I can't resist. Here's a clue: it's blue and enamel and nesting.
