The revelers were dressed to the 'nines' - colorful flower tiaras; faces
painted to enchant; costumes meant to dazzle. Ah, such allure for my camera. What a colorful and gorgeous evening at the INTERNATIONAL FOLK ART NOCHE DE MUERTOS
fund-raising gala dinner.
FIRE DANCER STILT WALKERS MARIACHI
A PARADE OF
SKULLS WERE EVERYWHERE!
THE GALA DINING ROOM WAS LIKE A
DAY OF THE DEAD STAGE SET...
The jewel-toned napkins were gorgeous...as were the amazing Day of the Dead centerpieces...each one different...
AND, THE FOOD. Deliciously catered by
an extraordinary group of Santa Fe Restaurant Chefs...
Restaurant Martin, Chef Martin Rios
Hotel Santa Fe, Chef Walter Dominguez
Tres Colores, Chefs Arturo & Hugo Sena
Coyote Café, Chef Eduardo Rodriquez
Bang Bite, Chef Enrique Guerrero
Izanami, Chef Kiko Rodrieguez
Maize, Chef Leroy Alvarado
The dinner...the auction...and the post party dancing were a success and all went to support the Museum of International Folk Art's exhibitions and educational programs through the Museum of New Mexico Foundation (MNMF).
