ALAN SUITS is a hard guy to miss.
I first met Alan at the indoor Flea at El Museo and was happy to learn that he and his wife/business partner Ann Lehman had opened a shop just down from Canyon Road on Paseo de Peralta.
ANN'S NECKLACE IS A STUNNER...
The shop is a treasure trove of traditional tribal jewelry, art and artifacts from over fifty countries in Africa, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Americas.
The shop is one room, but it holds a world of unique items, carefully curated and displayed: tribal and ethnographic jewelry from India, Morocco and Central Asia, tribal boots, sculpture, masks and costumes from Africa, as well as Tuareg nomad daggers, jewelry and leather work from the Sahara, Indonesian textiles, Tibetan bronzes, and Navajo, Hopi Zuni and Santo Domingo jewelry.
Check out the latest runway fashion shows...ethnic jewelry is IN.
AND, SO MUCH MORE...
Beautiful nesting tables...
